Thrown from my usual iron rich clay with a textured rim. An Australian bottlebrush seed pod was used to create the distinctive texture. It is glazed with my regular Cornish stone and Dolomite glaze with hardwood ash glaze pours which have a beautiful surface quality.
Approx 23. 5cm in diameter at the rim by 9.5cm tall.
Fired to around 1280/1300°C with gas and wood in a reduction atmosphere.
